Originally from New York, I now reside in "tar heel" country - Chapel Hill, NC.  Here, I provide technology-based administrative support solutions to individuals and small businesses through my consulting firm, Polat Business Solutions. While my educational background includes criminal justice and paralegal studies, I have acquired extensive experience in the IT field and hold multiple Microsoft certifications. When I am not designing websites or databases, I enjoy spending quality time with my kids, reading, sewing and playing Chess and Scrabble.
